Salaam Aleikum,
MMC Rules have been violated. This will not be allowed to continue. I strongly urge all parties involved to refrain from such behavior. Otherwise I will be left with no choice but to suspend all parties from the site the next time this occurs.
Just a reminder.
When posting anything on the board, you CAN NOT directly make a comment about another member. You can talk about your viewpoint, give your proof and state it is your opinion but you CAN NOT attack the other member about what they feel. Such statements that being with "You ..." are not allowed when they are negative.
IF you don't agree with someone, there is no need to carry it on. Just state what you feel and move on. We are only here to share our information.
We must be respectful to each other at all times. Please refrain from ALL CAPS, since that shows you are shouting at the member.
Here are the Rules in case anyone forgot them.
1- There are many people that are reading your posts (including non-Muslims), so it is important that you state clearly what is according to Islam and what is your opinion. When presenting a controversial point of view, identify whose view it is. For example, if it is your opinion, you can begin with "in my experience...." or "IMHO "(in my humble opinion). If it is a view of someone else’s, you could state "according to...",
2. Source Must Be Posted-Anything that you state as according to Islam must have a source posted with it. This way we can see where you found your information from. If the source cannot be guaranteed by Administrator to be reliable, then it will be removed and it will be stated that it is the opinion of the member.
3. Rudeness- Personal attacks, swearing, and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. MashaAllah, we don’t have to worry about this since the sisters here are so wonderful towards each other.
4.When You Don’t Agree- Please ensure that you use wisdom and kindness when offering any advice. If you do not agree with something that somebody is doing encourage an alternative approach and mention the advantages of such an approach, but DO NOT criticize what somebody has done.
5. PUSHING AGENDAS - Pushing an agenda /group /newsletter /website /personal brand of Islam is not allowed. This is a friendly forum where sisters can find support and receive encouragement.
Lastly, contacting anyone privately or following them around the forum just to bother them will not be permitted. If I find evidence that this is occurring, the person involved will be suspended.
I will not be looking to see who is right and who is wrong. The next time someone is involved in any sort of "back and forth" on the posts, they will be suspended.
I hope my rules are clear and we can move on from this inshaAllah.
Rules must be followed for all of us to have a pleasant experience here. I am here to make sure that happens.
