Salaam Aleikum!

I am so excited to announce the first ever MMC KIDS CLUB!! for GIRLS and BOYS!! (they will be separated by gender) This has been idea of mine for some time now and I finally got a chance to make it a reality. I am particularly excited about this mainly because my daughter has been asking for it for a long time now and she is so happy to be able to do what mommy does. ;)

WHY HAVE YOUR KIDS JOIN?
1- They can now have online "pen-pals" from all over the world!
2- They can talk with other Muslim kids in a safe environment
3- They will be participating in Muslim kids games that will help them increase their deen knowledge
4- They will be participating in Fun Kids Contests
5- They will learn to be proficient with computer use
6- They will feel confident knowing there are many Muslims all over the world that are just like them.
7- They can make lots of new friends
8- They will have as much fun on MMC as you do! ;)

How does it work?
Ok so let me tell you exactly what this is. There are two separate kids forums. One for Girls only and another for Boys only. These forums are not visible by anyone and will only be visible by those that are allowed to join (also kids will not be able to see contents of our forums). The forum will be a place for kids to talk to other kids from all over the world! How fun!
Kids of all ages are allowed to join!

Safety is my number 1 priority!

To make sure the kids here have a safe environment and that those that are allowed really are kids, strict guidelines will be followed. ONLY MEMBERS with more than 150 posts can have their kids join the MMC Kids Forum (no one else will be allowed to join).

1- A member who has more than 150 posts will pm me to make an account for each kid that they want to join.
2- The member must pm me and let me know the username they want for each child, gender, and their ages.
3- I will then assign the appropriate forum to each username
4- I will contact the member and let her know that now their children can go ahead and log in.
5- The child will log in and ONLY see the forums assigned to him/her and they can start making posts.

Children will be Grouped as Follows:
(Only those in the same groups can talk to each other)

Group A: Pre-K to 2nd Grade
Group B: 3rd Grade to 5th Grade
Group C: 6th Grade to 8th Grade
Group D: 9th Grade to 12th Grade

The child will not be on our Member list, nor will their posts show up anywhere on the forum. They will be hidden from everyone and only other children with the same gender can see their posts and reply to them. The forums will be Moderated by me personally.

This is an added bonus to all you sisters for being such great active members at MMC!

I hope your kids enjoy it and inshaAllah have fun talking to their fellow Muslim kids from all over the world!! :)

All ages are welcome! Noone is too young or old. I will be putting kids in their appropriate groups. Only those in the same groups will be able to talk to each other. The groups are as follows:

Group A: Pre-K to 2nd Grade
Group B: 3rd Grade to 5th Grade
Group C: 6th Grade to 8th Grade
Group D: 9th Grade to 12th Grade

Dont worry sis, I will put them in the categories for you inshaAllah. You just send me a username that you want for your son and his age and I will do the rest. :)

Just want to give a quick update.

MashaAllah I am done establishing the kids forums and have been working to make sure that: #1- They are very private in the forum and cannot be detected by adults (they have their own stand alone forum once they log in).
#2- They do not have access or see the contents of our forum.

Alhumdullilah I was able to accomplish that to the best of my ability and if anything ever comes up due to it being overlooked, then i will certainly take care of it.

Their forums are PASSWORD PROTECTED so not only do the members here not have the ability to access them, also anyone not on the appropriate age group cannot access them as well.

So far we have the following members in the following groups:

Girls:
PreK-2nd: Two Members
3rd-5th: Three Members
6th-8th: Three Members
9th-12th: One Member

Boys:
Pre-K -2nd: One Member
3rd-5th: none
6th-8th: One Member
9th-12th: none

If anyone has been waiting to sign their kid up, then this is the time to do it. InshaAllah we can have enough members so all the kids there can have a great fun time.

To access the forums they have to enter the password exactly as I provided (using both uppercase and lowercase letters). Just copy and paste it and inshaAllah it will work. :)

My daughter is extremly excited too! She loves talking to her new friends and using all the cool glitter graphics! lol

Oh , my 2 DDs are both talking to the same girl . They are 11 and 8 yrs ,could she be your DD ? I would be excited too MYSELF :)

As sis Admin said , we have to type the passwords as she told us,with lower and upper cases.
We too had many problems until we figured it out. My DDs are writing for hours .

my youngest daughter has got in and my son but my eldest daughter is having the problem insha'allah lina they will become freinds but they have rules for going on the pc and that is they are only allowed on it on a wedevening thursday and friday as this is the weekend here for us and then when school is out they can go on i will have to make a roata for them as i don't want them taking my time on mmc umi comes frist

InshaAllah more sisters will sign up their kids so the Kids forum can be more active and the kids can really enjoy themselves. :)

Zaid is only 4.5 yrs old and I don't know if he could spell well enough to read & write in the forum. But I surely would like to show him the page and maybe guide him along. But I have nieces and nephews whom I can suggest to join the group too..

But I need a lil help here....
Our education categories might be a lil different from where you are...
Can I please have the breakdown (in ages) for the different grades...

Its ok sisters, if you dont want them to join yet. I was thinking the same thing and then I realized that this is a great way to get him to spell his name, write the alphabet and put some pictures of his favorite cars! lol

I taught him to write a simple phrase and he put up some cute smilies from our gallery here (of course it had to do with cars lol).

He was amazed that his message was there even after we left the board. It was a funny experience.

so i cant get esther in the thing... i log her in with her name and password, but when i click on her forum, to let her inside, it asks for a password, and i enter the one that i was given and it wont work, so i cannot get her into the forum. help!

umm Faiza , it is a mini forum for kids . Youngest group is 4 or 5 yr old . So it is only your DD that can join :)
