Isn't it better to say masjed instead of mosque ? I heard that mosque in English means the home of mosquito or is that wrong ?

I guess I don't know Lina but thanks for the info. So the next question is....When should we do it? Any ideas? My suggestion would be July 6th.

I think that was just one of those hoax things to incite muslims wasn't it? There was an email saying it comes from the Spanish for mosquito or something. The words look quite different in Spanish: mosquito for the insect and mezquita for the masjid.

Then there's nothing wrong with mosque , and it comes from a native English , jazaky Allah khair Nicola.

I don't mind when to change avatars . I'll begin looking for pics in shaa Allah .

Great idea Masha ALLAH . But not every sister has a mosque near. Why not chose a picture of a beautiful mosque? And for the change i suggest next monday

I think that I will pick a Masjid from Morocco since that is where DH is from. The Masjids here look like office buildings.
